Use the Nearby configurable app template to create apps that help people find locations of interest near them. App users provide an address or a place. Your app can allow the app user to define a search distance to limit what constitutes a nearby feature. The app compares the user's location to the locations-of-interest layers you include in the map.
For example, if your map contains layers that store the location of entertainment venues such as theaters, arenas, and clubs, app users can define their present location and search for the entertainment venues within 5 miles of that location.
To see the options available for this template, search your ArcGIS Enterprise portal using the app template name and open the app template item's detail page.
The web map must contain at least one feature layer with layers of interest. Your portal must be configured with a geocoding utility service to allow users to search for address locations.
